The Federal Ministry of Police Affairs hosted a technical presentation by Tech-Strategy Limited on Siyanoav Cybersecurity Solutions, showcasing global best practices in cybersecurity and innovative enterprise security technologies, designed to strengthen the protection of government digital assets and critical information infrastructure.
The presentation, attended by Directors, Heads of Units and ICT personnel of the Ministry, provided a platform for knowledge sharing on emerging cyber threats, evolving cybersecurity trends and practical strategies for enhancing institutional cyber resilience and securing government digital infrastructure.
Speaking during the presentation, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr. Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia, represented by the Director of Human Resource Management, Mr. Ikemefuna Ohayere, commended the initiative, describing the presentation as timely given the increasing dependence of government institutions on digital technologies for effective service delivery.
He stressed that adherence to global cybersecurity best practices, continuous capacity building and the deployment of advanced security technologies remain essential to safeguarding sensitive government information and strengthening the Ministry’s ICT infrastructure against emerging cyber threats.
The representative of the Permanent Secretary further noted that although the Ministry currently operates a Federal Government-approved cybersecurity solution, there is always room for improvement through the adoption of emerging technologies and global best practices. He assured the presenters that the management of the Ministry would carefully study the presentation and give it the necessary consideration.
Presenting the solutions, Engr. Agbaje Olufemi, stated that Siyanoav Cybersecurity engagement was aimed at demonstrating international cybersecurity best practices and showcasing advanced enterprise security solutions capable of helping government institutions build a more secure, resilient and intelligent backend cybersecurity architecture.
He identified cyberattacks on critical data and information systems as one of the greatest threats facing organisations today, noting that government information remains a strategic national asset that requires proactive, multilayered and intelligence-driven protection.
Engr. Olufemi highlighted the company’s Artificial Intelligence-powered cybersecurity solutions, featuring real-time threat detection, malware and ransomware protection, enterprise firewall, email security, safe web browsing, endpoint protection, device and USB control, privacy protection, as well as a centralized management platform for enterprise-wide monitoring, administration and rapid incident response.
As part of the engagement, Siyanoav Cybersecurity Solutions also offered complimentary cybersecurity assessments, pilot deployment, technical demonstrations and capacity-building programmes to support the Ministry’s efforts at strengthening its cybersecurity posture.
