GROUP SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH MINISTRY OF POLICE AFFAIRS
The Honorable Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi has said that security matters require the participation of other stakeholders for effective performance. He made this known in Abuja on Tuesday, 6th November, 2019, when he received the Team from TEN4 group, led by Mr. Bryn Amoru who was on a courtesy visit to the Ministry.
Dingyadi noted that when all security agencies come together to work as a team, more impact is made at less cost that is why the Ministry requested the TEN4 team to do its presentation to broader stakeholders in security and communication matters.
The Permanent Secretary in his remarks, said there seems to be a security solution from TEN4 through their well cut out research which has resulted to a multi-faceted rapid response initiative. He commended TEN4 for thinking outside the box and assured them of positive response after due feasibility study with sister agencies.
Speaking earlier, the team leader, Mr. Bryne said, TEN4 is a security initiative which works perfectly in the USA, thus the need to introduce it to his country Nigeria” TEN4 intends establishing a common platform for all security agencies with a dispatch mechanism which sends information to all security agencies simultaneously, a rapid response, amongst other advantages”, he said.
Bryne emphasized the need for centralized crime reporting and introduced a partner who can convert vehicles using fuel to natural gas and suggested its adoption by the Nigerian Police based on its efficiency.
